Der vorliegende Artikel untersucht Kinderlieder und Wortspiele aus der kuschitischen Sprache Kambaata und geht der Frage nach, ob dieses Textgenre nützliche Daten für eine grammatische Analyse dieser wenig bekannten Sprache liefern kann. Das Korpus von neun glossierten, übersetzten und annotierten Texten steht im Zentrum dieses Artikels. Tonaufnahmen der Texte werden bereitgestellt.
